I really enjoyed watching the prosthetics lesson, because the girl's topic was one I knew very little about. The limited knowledge gave me the ability to be completely engaged in her lesson. This helps me understand what goes into choosing a good topic that can people interested in the lesson.
I also liked one of the business management lessons I was in. Her presentation showed me that you can take a very simple topic and do it very well.
I didn't like the second business management lesson I saw because the guy didn't seem as enthusiastic about presenting, and he worked with his dad so it wasn't that difficult for him. I learned not to work close to home, because I might not work as hard to learn and understand my topic.
2. List one thing that you learned about the senior project in interviews that will help you get off to a good start?
Do not slack when you start to do research or it will be very difficult to keep up.
3. What topic(s) are you considering, and why?
I am considering doing something in fitness, because for the past few months I have gotten really invested in exercising and eating healthy.
4. What EQ do you think might be interesting to consider in guiding a project like this? (Please don't worry about any sort of formula...we want this question to come from your genuine interest).
What is the best way to lose weight and stay healthy?
5. What are some ideas you have about finding summer mentorship?
I work out a lot at this club and I could find a mentor there. I could also get a mentorship at a dietitian.
